Ciara and Russell Wilson flocked to the warm weather of Miami, Fl for other reasons than Spring break. Recently the couple visited 300 inmates at Everglades Correctional Institution.
Ciara and Russell partnered with God Behind Bars non-profit organization, which facilitated the link up. God Behind Bars connects prisoners and their families to Christ by being the pathway to the local church. The A-list couple connected with the inmates genuinely through praise and worship; Russell read scriptures and Ciara offered words of encouragement.
The group rejoiced and enjoyed the energy in the atmosphere. The video below shows a range of emotions that filled the room. It was reported on God Behind Bars instagram that 27 men dedicated their life to Christ.
