Tory Lanez Sentencing Delayed

Daystar Peterson known as,Tory Lanez had to face Judge David Herriford for sentencing at Tuesday's hearing. Unfortunately Tory Lanez sentencing has been delayed again. The Canadian rapper/singer did not find out his fate for being convicted for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in court today (Tuesday Feb. 28).

Tory agreed to the delay to give his lawyers more time to prepare to seek a new trial. Judge Herriford lifted the gag order on Tory Lanez allowing him to speak publicly on shooting case. Tory was convicted on multiple charges, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, for shooting shooting Megan Thee Stallion. He was also charged with carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharge of a firearm with gross negligence.

Tory has been behind bars since December 2022. He faces up to 22 years in prison. The rescheduled sentencing date is set for April 10.
