Nipsey Hussle's Killer Sentenced Today

Three years ago Eric Holder gunned down Nipsey Hussle. Nipsey was standing outside of the Marathon Clothing Store, which he owns when Erica ran up on him shooting. The hanise crime took place in broad daylight and was caught on camera.

Nipsey Hussle was hit about 10 times, then kicked by Holder. Video shows Holder running away from the scene with a semi-automatic.

Nipsey and Eric grew up together and both men were affiliated with the Rollin' 60s. Prosecutors argued the the shooting was premeditated when Eric Holder approached Nipsey. Eric was upset over accusations that he was a snitch.

Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke handed down Eric's fate today with sentencing him to 60year to life in prison. Eric was found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter along with first degree murder. Two other people were stuck in the shooting.

His lawyer attempted to have his charges dropped down to manslaughter or second degree murder. Judge Clay rejected it in December.

Nipsey Hussle was 33 years old when he was murdered. A father of two and a celebrated community leader. Last year Nipsey was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
