Guilty: Tory Lanez

The verdict has come in faster than expected in the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion case. Late this evening (Friday December 23) the jury found Tory guilty on three felony charges in the 2020 shooting involving Kelsey Harris, Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez.

The 30 year old Canadian singer potentially could be facing 22 years in prison. The counts found guilty on are; assault with a deadly weapon, an unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Tory Lanez father, Sonstar Peterson was escorted out of court by deputies for his reaction to the verdict. Mr. Peterson leaped up from his seat and shouted, " This wicked system stands judgement in front of God almighty." He then faced the prosecutors and said, "You two are wicked evil people. You know what you did." Tory's father continued to scream his remarks from the courtroom hallway.

In closing arguments Tory's laywers pointed out that shots were fired by Kelsey Harris whom is Megan's bestfriend. The two ladies were fighting over Tory. Kelsey was in a jealous rage supposedly after finding out Megan and Tory had an intimate relationship while they all were riding in the same vehicle leaving Kyle Jenner's house.

Tory's lawyer's also argued Megan created a more sympathetic narrative by accusing Tory of being the shooter. Attornery Mgdesyan continued by saying, "Megan Pete is a liar. She lied about everything in this case from the beginning. She lied under oath."

Kelsey pointed the finger at Tory as the shooter. Kelsey was granted immunity and plead the 5th amendment. Her lawyers has been reported to have refused commenting via email.

Tory has been remanded to police custody immediately. The sentencing is scheduled for late January.
