KRS-One Sues Kanye West

Kanye has had a challenging month following all the ranting he has done across media platforms. KRS-One is added to the list of unhappy people with Kanye West.

A lawsuit was filed by the owners of KRS-One's infamous diss track South Bronx from his group Boogie Down Productions. "Ye" sampled the song on Andre 3000 track Life of the Party and allegedly did not get permission to do so.

It has been reported that Kanye and his business partner Alex Klein earned around $2.2 million. Court documents show that Kanye did ask for permission but the two parties never reached an agreement.

The company that own's the rights to KRS-One diss track said Kanye moved forward with the sample in spite of a joint agreement. At the time Kanye was releasing his stem players.

It is unclear the details of the agreement at this time. As more details unfold updates will be provided.
