Gucci Mane's record label Gupwop 1017 on Wednesday November 2, announced the signing of new rapper Baby Racks to the label roster. In the same breath it was made public that the newly signed rapper is not signed to Gupwop 1017.
Gucci man made it known on twitter what time it was with his new artist.
"Congratulations to @Babyracks1017 first artist to get signed and dropped in a day that dude is not signed to 1017," Guwop tweeted.
The reasoning behind the release of the Baby Racks is not clear. The tweeted announcement followed behind Baby Racks refusing to perform in Houston, Texas after the fetal shooting of Migos member Takeoff.
Baby Rack's responded to Gucci Mane with "thank you's" and a shot out to other key players in the industry to sign the now new free agent.
"Congratulations to babyracks appreciate the video appreciate flying me and my team out I appreciate that check Atlantic records sent thank you Gucci," Baby Racks replied. Racks then shouted out Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, Jeezy, QCM_p "wassup. Holla at me."
Sounds like the shortest job Baby Racks or anyone else has ever had!
