American Airlines honored Bessie Coleman's 100th anniversary as the first black female pilot this week. American Airlines made history by celebrating with having it's "First All Black Female Crew" from ground crew to pilots.
Bessie Coleman's niece Gigi partook in the celebration. Flight 372 from Arizona to Dallas, Texas will be remembered by many. Gigi told CBS that her great-aunt received her license two years before Amelia Earhart. No-one knew about her; she was not in history books.
