Kodak Black Enters Into A Plea Deal In His Sexual Assault Case

Kodak Black entered a guilty plea in the legal case from his assault of a high school student in 2016 and was indicted on first degree sexual assault charges.

He pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of first-degree assault and battery under a plea deal. Kodak received a suspended 10 year sentence but will be on probation for 18 months. The deal specified that Kodak must also take full responsibility for the incident and publicly apologize to the victim (which he did in court) and must undergo counseling.

Last year Kodak received a commutation from Donald Trump in the final hours of his presidency, which Kodak addressed in a song called “Last Day In.”
