The Seven Mile Bridge Run is back in the Florida Keys!
After being cancelled last year because of the pandemic, officials say the race is set for Saturday. Protocols are in place to mitigate potential COVID transmission.
Monroe County deputies are halting traffic for three hours along the the Seven Mile Bridge, which is the longest span of 42 bridges that run over water in the Keys.
Registration was only opened to 1,500 runners who had signed up for the cancelled 2020 competition, and about 1,000 entrants have registered.
