LIV Nightclub in Miami Beach is having a grand reopening on Friday!
Dave Grutman tweeted the announcement, as Alesso will headline the big night at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach nightclub.
The reopening comes as Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniela Levine-Cava lifts the nearly year-long curfew and other business restrictions after midnight on Monday.
A proposed 12-point plan by Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber says alcohol sales should be cut off at 2 a.m. from the current 5 a.m. last call.
"There is no reason our City needs 170 establishments able to sell liquor all night long. All it does is project to the world that we are a place that embraces hard partying . . .”
Gelber presented his plan to transform the city's entertainment district into an Art Deco cultural district and the changes include enhanced policing, code enforcement and a 2 a.m. last call for alcohol sales.
"We need to begin this change, and it must be done boldly and not incrementally," he said.
