Kyle Lowry is officially a member of the Miami Heat!

Drake shared a photo of Kyle Lowry holding the NBA Championship Trophy while wearing a Toronto Raptors uniform. Drake shared another post of a picture of himself, Kyle Lowry, and DeMar DeRozan from an issue of SLAM! magazine.

"@kyle_lowry7 the city is yours eternally and we wish you the best in south beach...," Drake stated underneath the sentimental throwback. "We will continue to celebrate you."

Welcome to the 305 Kyle!

When the Miami Heat come back this season, it won’t be at the American Airlines Arena. The team began removing signage outside the arena, as they convert it to the new name: FTX Arena.

Some fans stopped by the arena Tuesday to get a last look at the old name

FTX is a leading cryptocurrency exchange that was willing to pay $135 million in naming rights. $90 million of that will go to the county over a 19-year period, which is about $7 million in revenue annually until 2040. American Airlines was paying $2 million annually until their agreement expired last year.

Mayor Levine Cava hailed the deal as the best possible financial option for the county, as the money would be divided among the 13 county commissioners and part of the funding would be to fight gun violence and poverty in each district.
