The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a shooting that may have targeted Black, who was the headliner at Cultur3Fest, when officers responded to reports of a shooting. The gunfire left one person with serious injuries, and happened in the parking lot of a McDonald's.

Cultur3Fest was a large all-day music festival held at Tenn Nightclub, at the Tennessee Street strip. Black was among several artists who performed at the outdoor event.

A month ago Black was performing at a club when security, noticed a red beam on his shirt and rushed him out of the venue.

In a video, Kodak is seen performing one of his songs at a nightclub when his security guard noticed a red beam shining on Kodak's stomach and snatched him up by his shirt to get him out of the club.

His entire team dipped out of the club, following closely as he stepped out of a back entrance.
