Kyla Pratt Confirms “The Proud Family” Is Coming Back To Disney


The trend of bringing back some our favorite childhood shows continues and this time, it’s lit!

When Disney announced they would be launching a new steaming service, Disney+ with some of your favorite shows and movies from the entertainment mega-company, fans flooded social media with their requests. Well, one of those requests have been fulfilled! 

Disney’s animated series, “The Proud Family” is back and one of the starts from the 2000’s era cartoon, Kyla Pratt aka. Penny Proud confirmed the news!

It’s been 18 years since the original series premiered on The Disney Channel and now, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” is currently in production at Disney Television Animation. But, that’s not even the best part!

ALL of the original voice cast is BACK for the new episodes! Joining Kyla Pratt (Penny Proud) is: Tommy Davidson (Oscar Proud), Paula Jai Parker (Trudy Proud), Jo Marie Payton (Suga Mama), Karen Malina White (Dijonay Jones), Soleil Moon Frye (Zoey Howzer), Orlando Brown (Sticky Webb) and Alisa Reyes (LaCienega Boulevardez).

Cedric the Entertainer will also return as Uncle Bobby Proud.

As of now there's no premiere date for the new series, but in the meantime you can stream all seasons of “The Proud Family” on Disney+
