Every year, Trinidad & Tobago celebrates carnival the Monday and Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. It’s a HUGE celebration with music, drinks and elaborate, beautiful costumes. This year, Nicki Minaj showed up and showed out!
The proud Trini flooded the ‘gram to show off her outfit and her curvy body for her fans (and haters to see).

The Queens rapper also shared some photos from the event and it was clear her fans were happy to see her! Of course her husband, Kenneth Petty (who didn’t dress up) was there to support his wife.
Now, it wouldn’t be Nicki Minaj if there wasn’t some drama.
It seems there were a few people who felt a way about Mr. Petty brushing up on a hype man for a local artist. In a video circulating online, you can see the man get a little close to Nicki and her man was not happy about it and moves his arm and gives him the “back up” look. While Nicki didn’t address the situation directly, she did post a video a few hours later with an interesting caption…
