Ray J and Princess Love have found their way to reconciliation after a divorce filing.
As per Page Six, the estranged couple isn’t estranged no more and living together again. Back in May, Princess Love, 35, filed for divorce from Ray J, 39, but recently requested to dismiss the divorce on July 6 in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the outlet, the request was approved days later. The two tied the knot in 2016. In the former’s initial filing, the Love & Hip Hop star requested full custody of their two children, daughter Melody, 2, and son Epik, 6 months.
Trouble in paradise for the two spread around the blogosphere when Love claimed that Ray J abandoned her and their daughter in Las Vegas. That prompted Love to move out of their residence. At the time of their separation, a representative for the couple told PEOPLE that they were trying to navigate the split as best as possible. "It's a very difficult time for both Princess and Ray J and we are asking that we just let them have their privacy as they work through and deal with this very trying situation,” the rep said.
However, giving their marriage a second shot might not be a surprise to all. Weeks after Love filed for divorce, the singer admitted that he was "back with the kids" during a virtual press conference. "Over these past few months, though, I've been at the studio locked in. I was at the studio right around when everything got locked down,” he said. “Before I came home, I had to quarantine for 14 days. My wife has been supermom, and she wasn't having that so she just wanted to make sure that I was good. We're taking it one day at a time."
