Lil Scrappy Stops Performance After Fan Gets Injured While Jumping On Stage

Lil Scrappy stopped midway through his recent performance after a fan suffered a serious injury while he tried to jump on stage.

The Atlanta rapper hit the stage for day two of the SUMMER614 — Where Music is Therapy Festival in Columbus, Ohio, over the weekend. While Scrappy was performing, a man ran from the front of the crowd and jumped on a speaker in an attempt to get on stage. Someone tried to prevent the man from coming on stage by pushing him. The man fell backward and made a rough landing on the ground.

In a video of the incident, you can see the moment when the man was shoved off the stage. He laid on the ground in front of the stage without moving for the rest of the video. According to people who claimed to have witnessed the incident, the man was bleeding from his head for several minutes before paramedics arrived. As of this report, the man has not been identified and his condition hasn't been confirmed. It's also not clear whether or not the man who pushed the victim is a bodyguard or a part of Scrappy's team.

Sgt. James Fuqua of the Columbus Police Department told TMZ officers weren't called to the scene at the time of the incident. However, police are currently investigating the incident and searching through the video. Sgt. Fuqua also said if the victim doesn't file a compliant, then charges won't be filed.

Lil Scrappy has not commented on the situation yet.
