The Tampa Bay Lightning (31-20-4) defeated the Montreal Canadiens (25-26-5) 5-3 on Sunday afternoon in Montreal. The Lightning now enter a two-week break having won their last four games.
The Lightning got goals from Nick Paul, Victor Hedman, Brayden Point, Zemgus Girgensons and Anthony Cirelli. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 34 saves in net, playing in both games of a back-to-back before the long break.
The Lightning are next in action when they host the Seattle Kraken on February 23rd.
