Kid Cudi has spoken out about the alleged stalker who was recently arrested for breaking into his home in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, January 23, Cudi took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and told his 2.5 million followers that he no longer feels safe. The Cleveland native said the "crazed fan" had been stalking him "for years" without his knowledge and followed him to various events from the U.S. to overseas.

"He drove across the country and broke into my house hoping to talk w me about collabing and ideas he had," Cudi wrote. "There is nothing funny about this. My privacy was violated, and now I have to protect myself."

According to TMZ, the 34-year-old man invaded Cudi's property on January 15 and made himself at home. Police caught the man walking around shirtless in the rapper's kitchen after he ate his food, used his bathroom, and took a shower. Cudi said the man also went through his and his fiancée's personal items. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office arrested the man and charged him with felony burglary and theft of utilities. He was held on a $150,000 bond.

"Im gonna take some serious security measures to make sure this doesn't happen again," he wrote. "Im not online to see the comments, but word got back to me people are making light of this and its not okay. If im standoffish when u see me in public now, this is why."

No one was home at the time of the break-in. Kid Cudi and his family had just evacuated due to the Los Angeles wildfires.
