Despite all the "lil" rappers out there, only one Hip-Hop star is known as the shortest rapper of all time.
According to a recent study from The Shot, the late Bushwick Bill is considered the shortest rapper ever. The Texas native measured up to 3 feet and 8 inches tall after he was born with dwarfism. He joined Geto Boys as a breakdancer known as "Little Billy" in 1986 before he was brought on as the official third member with Scarface and Willie D. He appeared on the group's seven studio albums and dropped six solo albums before he lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2019.
Coming in second place is Lil' Kim. The New York native earned her name after she pulled up to the scene in 1994 at 4 feet and 11 inches. She's dropped five studio albums including Hard Core (1996), The Notorious K.I.M. (2000) and four mixtapes. She continues to rock stages all around the world to this day.
Nicki Minaj comes in third at 5 feet 3 inches. The petite femcee just wrapped up her most successful world tour ever, "Pink Friday 2 World Tour." Following the release of her Pink Friday 2 album in 2023, Minaj embarked on a 19-month tour that went to three continents and grossed over $108 million. She brought out several high-profile guests including 50 Cent, BIA, Skillibeng, Fivio Foreign and more.
Another MC who made the short list is the late Eazy-E. The founding member of N.W.A. made a name for himself as one of the most prominent rappers on the West Coast. Unfortunately, his life was tragically cut short after he passed away in 1995 following his battle with AIDS. One short king who was not mentioned on the list is the late Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest. The self-proclaimed "Five Foot Freak" clocked in a 5 feet and 3 inches before he passed away in 2016.
