Snoop Dogg is preparing to bless fans with his long-awaited album just in time for the holidays.
On Saturday, October 26, the veteran rapper took to Instagram to share the intended release date for his album Missionary. In the caption of his post, Snoop revealed that fans can expect his 20th studio album to arrive sometime next month. He hasn't confirmed the exact release date, however, it's possible that he could share the date within the next few weeks since December is only a couple of months away.
"Missionary. December," he wrote in the caption along with some dog paws, fire and other emojis.
Snoop Dogg has been teasing his new album for quite some time. The sequel to Snoop's debut LP Doggystyle is executive produced by Dr. Dre and is expected to feature several of the duo's good friends including 50 Cent, Sting, Erick Sermon and Method Man. The Wu-Tang Clan rapper recently confirmed his appearance on the album during his interview on Drink Champs.
"Everytime I work with Dre I feel like I need a do-over," Meth said. "The first time that I spit a verse with him, it wasn't up to par for me, and Dre was gracious enough not to put it put, even though it leaked anyway. The next shot I got is for the new Snoop and Dre joint coming out. He got a lotta fire shit on that joint, and still feel I could have did a little bit more, but I'm always gonna feel like that."
Look out for Snoop Dogg's next album arriving in December.
