DJ SpinKing called on a mixture of prominent and veteran MCs for his set at Powerhouse NYC 2024.
On Saturday night, October 26, Power 105.1's seasoned mixer hit the stage for his annual performance at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. He kicked off his set with Capella Grey, who performed his smash hit "Gyalis," followed by New Jersey artist Albee Al and "Whoopty" rapper CJ. UK-born artist Jordan Adetunji also pulled up to perform his hits "KEHLANI" and "Options" featuring Lil Baby. SpinKing kept the surprises coming by bringing out NLE Choppa and 41, who performed their new hit "Or What...?" live for the first time.
New York's own Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G also shocked the crowd with a surprise joint performance. It was the first time Sheff G performed on the Powerhouse stage since he was released from prison earlier this year.
SpinKing is known for stunning the crowd with his surprise guests. brought out several special guests including Teejay, 41, Sleepy Hallow, Rowdy Rebel and DaBaby. The North Carolina rapper belted out a few of his fan favorites like his latest hit "Shake Sum'n" along with "Suge" and "Bop." At the time, he told Gabe P. and Nyla Symone that his one bucket-list guest was the late Pop Smoke.
"One dream I wish I had was to perform on stage with [Pop Smoke]," SpinKing said. "I was even thinking of coming out to 'Invincible' but it hits a different thing and I didn't want to think about it because Pop was really family."
