Ex-Rapper Shyne Barrow Clears Up His Relationship to Diddy

Shyne Barrow stood in front the Belize media explaining his connection to the battling mogul Diddy. With the recent indictment and denial of bond the leading politician in the Belize found himself recapping the life changing event that happened back in 1999.

"He pretty much sent me to prison" ..." “This is someone who destroyed my life, and who I forgave,” he said,..... “for the better interest of Belize."

Shyne's main goal in revealing his true beliefs about that fateful night in 1999 appears to be distancing himself from the shocking details of Combs’ sex trafficking indictment. “I have no connection to Sean Combs’ personal life—no interactions on that level,” Barrow stated. “Everything was strictly professional.”

Shyne continued with his speech speaking over a reporter that attempted to question seeing Shyne out with Diddy in public. Shyne passionaly explained Diddy was in a position at that time to give scholarships and invest. I would not deny attempting to bring the investment to Belize and to bring the contributions to education to Belize.”

The politician now says he only played nice because he wanted to keep Diddy’s resources flowing into his country. That last performance was for “a charity event for impoverished youth,” he said. “This was not someone who I vacationed with and he and I enjoyed this great intimate relationship of brotherhood,” he expressed.

Shyne Barrow, was once Combs' protégé, was also asked about his participated in Sean "Diddy" Combs' "freak-offs." Shyne said he did not.

In 1999, Barrow was convicted of first-degree assault for a shooting inside of a NYC nightclub. Combs and then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez was also accused of shooting. self-defense and was acquitted of all charges.

“Under no circumstances whatsoever did I have anything to do with a shooting,” Combs said in a press conference at the time. “I do not own a gun nor did I have possession of a gun that night.”

Barrow was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2001. He was released in 2009. Upon his release from prison Shyne was deported back to Belize.

Natina Reuben was on of the three victims shot during the nightclub altercation maintains that Diddy was the shooter.
