LL COOL J is back with his first new single in eight years.

On Friday, June 14, the Grammy award-winning artist, actor and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee dropped his latest single "Saturday Night Special" featuring Rick Ross and Fat Joe. On the song produced by Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, LL tells a story about the various types of hustlers he's come across throughout the course of his tenure in the rap game.

"Number one priority, self-preservation/That applies to majority different situations," LL raps. "The daredеvil type, he love to makе a scene, the n***a hype/If he's the center of attention, you alright."

Rozay and Joey Crack follow up with their braggadocio verses, and even team up with LL for the official music video. The video was shot in Miami by JakeTheShooter with creative direction from HiHat. Named after the revolver, "Saturday Night Special" serves as the first single from LL COOL J's forthcoming 14th studio album The FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy). The project is executive produced by Q-Tip and is slated to arrive this fall in celebration of Def Jam Recordings' 40th anniversary.

“‘Saturday Night Special’ is just the beginning,” LL said in a statement. “There’s a lot more where this came from, and I’m hype for y'all to hear this new record. We’re doing this for the fans and for Hip-Hop culture.”

Fans will have a chance to hear a preview of the album throughout the summer during several curated events in partnership with Coors Light. The first event will go down in Los Angeles on June 28. The experience will travel to other cities like Houston, Chicago and Atlanta before it concludes in New York City on August 2.
