50 Cent has lost a decent amount of weight over the past few months, and fans have come up with their own theories about how he did it.

Over the weekend, the rapper-film mogul posted new photos of himself on Instagram that showed off his thinner physique. Fans immediately hopped in the comment section of his post and commented on his new look. Some claimed he looked "like 25 Cent" and accused him of using the diabetes medication Ozempic, which is trend some Hollywood elites have resorted to. However, according to a report Page Six published on Wednesday, January 23, that's not the case.

“Everybody talking about weight loss,” he said in a video he posted to Instagram. “I was in the gym, I was working the f**k out, man. And they say it was Ozempic. I was running, I was doing what I had to do. You see me on tour, I ran around. I was 253 pounds. I came down, I’m 210 right now."

A source close to the artist told the outlet 50 Cent committed to a "rigorous" training program for eight months before he embarked on his "Final Lap Tour" last year. Fif reportedly trained for “three hours a day, every day” to achieve the results fans see today.

The multifaceted artist's weight had been a trending topic ever since he appeared to look bigger during his surprise appearance at the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show. At the time, fans noticed he packed on a few pounds while he dangled upside-down while recreating the infamous scene from his "In Da Club" music video. Nearly two years later, the 48-year-old is more fit than ever before.

Longtime fans know this isn't the only time 50 Cent's weight has fluctuated. Back in 2010, he shed 54 pounds for his role in Mario Van Peebles' Things Fall Apart, in which he played a college football player battling cancer. According to EW, he went from 214 to 160 after he hit the treadmill for three hours a day while on a liquid diet.
