Young Thug and multiple YSL associates triggered more than 50 murders and several instances of gun violence across Atlanta, according to the Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Willis spoke with local news outlet WSB-TV on Friday (May 13) about her office's investigation into Young Thug, fellow rapper Gunna, and YSL's alleged violations of the RICO Act. The 88-page indictment accuses the group of three murders and dozens of violent crimes dating back to 2013.

One of the murders listed is that of Donovan Thomas. Young Thug is accused of renting the vehicle used in Thomas' murder, according to a report by XXL Magazine.

"[Thomas' murder is] extremely significant," Willis told the Atlanta news station. "It occurred back in 2015. And what myself and any law enforcement member can tell you as a result of the back-and-forth gun violence and murders that have occurred, have probably been in excess of 50 since 2015 –– triggered by that in the back-and-forth between that [YSL] gang and other gangs."

Young Thug is not accused of directly pulling triggers in any of the murders listed in the indictment. His attorney is denying all of the allegations.

"Mr. Williams has committed no violation of law, whatsoever," the rapper's attorney, Brian Steel, told XXL in a statement. "We will fight this case ethically, legally, and zealously. Mr. Williams will be cleared."
