Thousands Of Kids Will Need Meals During Distance Learning

It's not official just yet, but it appears Broward and Miami-Dade students will be starting school online. That means thousands of kids will still need to continue getting breakfast and lunch from their schools. A new study from the Trust for America's Health says 58-point-one percent of students in Florida are enrolled in the free and reduced lunch programs. Spokesman Adam Lustig says luckily, they will still be able to get their meals during distance learning.Nationally, over 50-percent of students in the U-S get free or reduced lunch.
