Legendary Radio Personality Angie Martinez is lucky to be alive.
"The Voice of New York" took to social media letting everybody know that she was in a car accident recently.
"I'm recovering and will be for some time, but I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to do that. Wanted you all to hear it from me first and know that although this is a different time, I am in the best spirits possible and determined to be back and better than ever!" she stated in her post.
News of the car crash arrives less than a month Martinez's new TV series, Untold Stories of Hip Hop, debuted on WeTV. Thus far, she's interviewed rappers like A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled and more about stories they've never told anyone before.
