3rd Annual Art, Blues, Soul & BBQ Festival

The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC), presents the third annual “Art, Blues, Soul & BBQ Festival” on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This annual event celebrates the arts, sounds and flavors of black Miami during Art Basel week and will be held on the grounds of the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, 6161 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Moonlight Way. Admission is free, however RSVPs are encouraged at ahcacmiami.eventbrite.com.

The Art, Blues, Soul & BBQ Festival mainstage will feature national artists such as R&B and musical group Surface, best known for their hits "Shower Me with Your Love" and “Happy,” Grammy Award winning American blues artist Bobby Rush, and Grammy award winning soul singer William Bell. The local lineup includes the hometown favorites, Sony recording artist Mojo Ike & Val, Jay Jones, and Entourage. Guests will be entertained by host Chello and DJ Chico the Leo. The Center’s Amadlozi Gallery will exhibit dynamic artwork by ceramist Morel Doucet in his exhibition White Noise: When Raindrops Whisper and Moonlight Screams in Silence local artist along with pop-up tents for local artist to display their work.

This event is a celebration with a purpose and created for foodies and music lovers alike. General admission is free. Reserved seating is $10. VIP tickets are $55 and include priority parking, catered food and beverage, and reserved seating underneath our VIP tent.
