Amber Rose is officially a mom-of-two!
The SlutWalk creator and her boyfriend Alexander "AE" Edwards welcomed their first child together, Amber's second, late Thursday night (October 10).
First-time dad AE announced the news on Instagram, captioning a photo of himself holding his son, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards: "The world is urs now ❤️thank u @amberrose for loving me so much that u put ur body thru it 2 bring my sun in2 the world. I could never be as strong as u. Slash a rockstar ❤️."
The couple's baby boy joins Amber's six-year-old son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, who she shares custody with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa.
The 35-year-old model announced that she was expecting a baby boy with the Def Jams A&R Vice President back in April. "@ae4president and I are SUPER excited to announce that we have a Sweet little Baby Boy on the way!" she captioned a photo of herself getting an ultrasound. "P.S Sebastian is soooooo Happy to be a big brother! 🤰🏼🤮☺️👶🏽🙏🏽❤️🥰."
AE also shared his excitement about becoming a father on his Instagram. "Even when it’s dark.. my SON will shine. ❤️☀️✨🙏🏽 Thank u baby 4 my greatest gift. sh*t wild!" he captioned the same photo of Amber getting an ultrasound. "I love you 💕 I can’t wait to thug it out w my baby boy. & baby boy, I promise I won’t get mad if ur first words r “where the b*tches @?” 🤣💙 ( jokinggg-no hyper-masculinity)."
Shortly after Amber's pregnancy announcement, she revealed that she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, an intense form of morning sickness that she also battled while pregnant with Sebastian. "I said I was going to document this pregnancy a little bit more than I did with Sebastian, 'cause with Sebastian I had hyperemesis, and I have hyperemesis again with this baby," Amber said in an Instagram video. "And for people that don’t know what it is, it’s basically extreme nausea, vomiting and dehydration. I’m really, really tired. I can eat a little bit more now ’cause I’m in my second trimester, but not much."
While Amber admitted that it's definitely tough dealing with all the symptoms of HG, she said it's definitely worth it. "To all the women out there who pop out babies like it's nothing, God bless you guys, 'cause it is just a lot," she continued. "I want to be out, I want to be cute, I want to show off my belly, but I just can't get off this couch. I'm tired, and I just want to barf all day, it's just not fun. But it's totally worth it."
Amber and AE have been dating since September 2018. The two went public with their relationship at Amber's 4th annual Slutwalk last October.
