Ariana Grande's Brother Frankie Grande Tributes Mac Miller

Ariana Grande's brother Frankie Grande is celebrating his sister's ex Mac Miller.

On Wednesday (September 12), the 35-year-old issued a sentimental message via Instagram reflecting on the memories and experiences he shared with Miller before the late rapper died at age 26 of a suspected overdose last Friday (September 7).

“I am beyond heartbroken over Malcolm’s death. He was a good friend and was wonderful to my sister," writes in his letter of Miller's relationship with Ariana, whom Miller dated for nearly two years before their breakup in May.

Frankie then reveals how the Swimming emcee urged him to seek sobriety from drug addiction, saying, "He was the reason I went to the rehabilitation center where I was detoxed safely from all of the drugs alcohol and medications I was taking, when I couldn’t imagine living without them."

"Our disease is strong but WE ARE STRONGER," Frankie continued, pledging to help others get the help they need. "Malcom [sic] my friend, you will be dearly missed … Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Miller's passing was met with immediate mourning from the music world, with everyone from Chance The Rapper, Shawn Mendes and Diplo celebrating the "Self Care" artist's life and legacy on social media.

After the terrible news broke, the "No Tears Left to Cry" songbird lamented her ex-lover with a touching image of Miller posted to her Instagram.

Frankie's touching note comes hours after fans honored Miller with a public vigil at Blue Slide Park in his native Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As of late, Miller's body is currently en route to his hometown in preparation for his upcoming funeral.
