When DJ 33 1/3 steps behind the turntables, he’s prepared to give you an experience to remember. DJ 33 1/3 first began his career as a professional DJ in the Midwest and has since expanded his brand across the nation.
With an impressive resume that spans over 12 years, DJ 33 is your favorite DJ’s favorite DJ with a host of influences to include DJ Kid Capri, DJ Funkmaster Flex, DJ Clark Kent and more. DJ 33 1/3 began his radio career in Chicago as well and landed a mixing position on 107.5 WGCI. Remaining humble and hard at work, 33 1/3 was promoted to Mix Show Coordinator and soon become the Music Director. Hard work pays off and it shows as 33 1/3 can now be heard on the radio as a mixer / personality weekly from 10pm to 2am during "The Friday Night and Saturday Night Mixtape" heard in nearly 30 different markets including Chicago, Houston and Miami.
Some of the major event residencies include Nissan’s BET Experience, Former NBA Player and Host Kenny Smith’s Annual All Star Party and more. In addition to his current work as the official tour DJ of 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Rakim, he has also DJ’ed for various athletes and musicians to include Ludacris, Common, Dwayne Wade, Nas, 50 Cent, Twista, Tamar Braxton, Jennifer Hudson, Kayla Briana and more. The DJ 33 1/3 portfolio will grow to include a plethora of activations to include a mobile app, commercial DJ mixes and major corporate and consumer DJ events. To round out his impressive resume, in 2014 DJ 33 1/3 was named Program Director of WMIB / 103.5 The Beat in Miami.
