Antonio Brown Released on Bond in Miami Attempted-Murder Case

This morning in Miami, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was released from Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center after posting a $25,000 bond in connection with a second-degree attempted murder charge.

The charge stems from a shooting outside a celebrity boxing match held on May 16, 2025, in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami.

According to the arrest warrant, Brown is alleged to have grabbed a handgun from a security staffer after a fist-fight, then fired two shots at a man he had been in a conflict with earlier. One bullet reportedly grazed the victim’s neck.

A warrant for Brown’s arrest was issued in June. He was later located in Dubai, extradited; first to New Jersey, then to Miami.
