Recently featured on the cover of GQ, SZA dropped this line: “I don’t know her. We have no connection to each other. There’s no back-story. Like, there was no through-line narrative.”
The drama began this past summer when Nicki targeted SZA in a string of posts on X (formerly Twitter), accusing her of being a fake "girl’s girl," calling her a "hater," and questioning her impact in the industry.
In response, SZA didn’t hide; she shared screenshots revealing that Nicki had reached out to her team for features twice in earlier days.
Check out screenshots below.
SZA’s the picture of poise.... she’s been busy with her own art, while Nicki’s fired shots that, from SZA’s vantage, came out of left field. SZA says she’ll let the music speak, not the tweets.
