The rapper, currently serving 15 years probation as part of a plea deal. Thug used the moment to promote positivity and second chances. In a move that caught many off guard, Thug publicly thanked Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and the Atlanta Police Department, encouraging the crowd especially young people to stay on the right path.

The event drew a large turnout and was seen as both a redemption moment and a message of growth. While Thug’s RICO case has dominated headlines, this appearance marks a shift in tone with the rapper seemingly embracing his role as a cautionary voice and community figure.

Thug also used the event to highlight youth outreach programs and spoke briefly about staying focused, staying free, and valuing life over street fame.
