The breakup might be public, but behind the scenes, Cardi B and Offset's divorce is far from over and the hold-up is all about money and property.
Cardi speaks on the situation between her and Offset; Card is refusing to hand over one of her high-value properties as part of Offset’s demands. On top of that, she’s allegedly not budging on his request that she help cover his outstanding tax bill. According to Cardi, she’s already given “seven years of her life” to the Migos rapper and feels the relationship simply ran its course.
The two are legally separated, but without a final agreement in place, the divorce proceedings remain stalled.
