Tory Lanez Continues Battle for Justice

Tory Lanez, the Canadian rapper and singer known for hits like Say It and Luv, is still actively pursuing legal relief following his conviction in the high-profile shooting involving fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion.

In a recent court appearance, his attorney Lauren Cepero told a panel of judges that Lanez’s legal team holds an “unwavering belief” in his innocence and argued that his trial was plagued by procedural errors that unfairly impacted the outcome.

Tory was sentenced to 10 years in August 202. He could be eligible for parole as early as November 2029. If parole is denied, he may remain incarcerated until 2033.

Lanez’s team is pursuing appeals in an effort to overturn the conviction or secure a new trial. Until then, his future remains uncertain, but he remains a vocal presence in music and legal circles; even from behind bars.
