In a heated social media rant that has been dominating headlines this weekend, Florida rapper JackBoy took to Instagram Live to address ongoing tensions with fellow artist Kodak Black. The outburst stems from a lawsuit Kodak Black filed against JackBoy, which has now escalated to a public back-and-forth filled with accusations and revelations that have caught the attention of fans and industry insiders alike.
The controversy began when Kodak Black, whose legal battles have been well-documented over the years, sued JackBoy. According to reports, the lawsuit was filed after the two artists fell out over financial matters related to their business dealings. In the lawsuit, Kodak claimed that JackBoy, who was once signed to Kodak’s label Sniper Gang, had engaged in actions that violated their agreement.
However, during his Instagram Live session, JackBoy dropped a bombshell revelation—he claimed that Kodak had initially offered him $300,000 in an attempt to settle the dispute and avoid a legal confrontation. JackBoy insists that he turned down the offer, only to have Kodak proceed with the lawsuit anyway. According to JackBoy, Kodak’s lawsuit ultimately ended up with a judgment of $140,000—far less than the original settlement offer.
In his live rant, JackBoy expressed his frustration with the entire situation, accusing Kodak of being disingenuous in their dealings. "He tried to offer me $300K to settle and then went ahead and sued me anyway," JackBoy said, visibly upset. “Only thing he got out of that lawsuit was $140K, and now look at us. It’s a whole mess, and I’m just tired of all the back-and-forth.”
With social media amplifying every move, it’s clear that both Kodak Black and JackBoy don't mind the public beef online. Whether this is a chapter of closure or just the beginning of a deeper divide, the story is far from over. For more update on how JackBoy and Kodak Black situation play out check back here on Bulletproof Radio.
