Gen Z, who are entering the workforce and beginning their adult lives, often struggle with the high cost of living in the city, especially when student loan debts and lower starting salaries are factored in.
Gen Xers, on the other hand, who are likely balancing family responsibilities and career stability, still face the same high rental prices, but with less flexibility in income. With the gap between wages and housing costs widening, Miami's rental crisis is forcing many to rethink their living options.

Spring break is around the corner as many are planning to flock south for the beach life; the residents on the other hand are looking to collect those vacation dollars to pay rent.
