His return to the streets and music scene had been highly anticipated, with fans eager for new releases and fresh content. Born Javarri Walker, "Hotboii" was freed from Orange County Jail on September 11 after his RICO case was dropped following two-years in jail. He wasted no time, dropping his new track “First Day Out,” which quickly gained traction on the internet. Initially Hotboii was facing RICO charges with about twelve other individuals, but recently agreed to plead guilty to a single conspiracy. Hotboii was facing serious legal trouble after being accused of being a prominent leader of the 438 gang, based in Orlando’s Silver Star Road area. Authorities claim the 438 gang has been engaged in a violent feud with the Army gang, allegedly led by fellow rapper Jacquavius “9lokkNine” Smith.

The charges against Hotboii stem from a RICO case, with his attorney, Lyle Mazin, clarifying that the accusations were based on two key points: using electronic communication to promote gang activity and possession of a firearm as a convicted felon. The first charge was linked to Hotboii’s Instagram posts, which reportedly showed firearms and contained lyrics referencing the gang. The second charge is tied to a gun found in Hotboii's car while he was attending the funeral of a close friend who had been murdered.

Prosecutors nor Hotboii and his legal team have yet to address the details of the plea deal.

Hotboii’s career trajectory had been on an upward rise, fueled by his hit singles and collaborations, and this latest incident raises questions about what the future holds for him. Fans are waiting for more details to be released on this latest situation.
