50 Cent’s Las Vegas residency has been the talk of the town, sparking conversations among fans, causing 50 to respond. The residency, featured six shows at Planet Hollywood, earned the New York icon a cool $15 million. During his final performance, 50 made sure to set the record straight on the kind of show he delivers, calling out his peers in the process. In true 50 fashion, he made a comparison between his performances and those of Chris Brown and Usher, asserting that his style is different.
“Y’all thought I was gonna be out here rollerblading like Usher?” 50 quipped to the crowd. “I seen some wild stuff, Chris Brown was flying in Africa. I don’t have records that require me to fly in Africa.” Known for his no-holds-barred approach, 50 confidently declared that his music doesn’t demand the same flashy, over-the-top performances seen from other artists in the game, like Chris Brown and Usher.
