Trey Songz Must Pay A Police Officer $11 Million

Trey Songz must pay an $11 million judgment after a Las Vegas judge ruled against him in a case filed by Tyrelle Dunn, a police officer from Maryland. Dunn claims that Songz attacked him in 2021 while he was trying to help his wife, who was allegedly in Songz's hotel room. Reports state that Songz did not respond to the lawsuit, resulting in a default judgment. The lawsuit claims that Dunn's wife was taken to a hotel room where she was assaulted and had her phone taken. Dunn said he heard his wife screaming for help when he got near the room. He described the attack as having a significant and lasting effect on his life, noting visible scars and ongoing emotional pain. Dunn sustained serious injuries, including fractures to both eye sockets and injuries to his nose, face, ribs, and more, which caused him to miss over a month of work. A hotel worker even called 911, saying Dunn looked "battered" and mentioned concerns about possible weapons in the room. It is not clear if Songz plans to appeal the ruling, and he has not publicly commented on the judgment. Although he faced this lawsuit, Songz was found not guilty of any criminal charges related to the incident in April 2022. Keep it locked to 103.5 The Beat for more!
