Mike Tyson may have gotten a little too real with 14-year old interviewer. Jazzy, interviewed Mike ahead of his anticipated fight against Jake Paul. She asked the heavyweight champion who asked, “What legacy does Mike Tyson want to leave behind?”
“I don’t believe in legacy. It’s just another word for ego. I’m just passing through. I’m gonna die, and it’s gonna be over. Who cares about legacy after that?” he said. “We’re nothing. We’re just dead. We’re just dust. We’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing. Who the f***k cares about me when I’m gone?”
Mike went in on the question elaborating to the young interviewer more reasons into why the meaning of "legacy" is a bunch of b.s. He continued with ......
“Can you really imagine somebody saying, ‘I want my legacy to be this or that’? You’re dead,” he continued. “You really want them to think about you? What’s the audacity to think, ‘I want people to think about me when I’m gone’? Who the f**k cares about me when I’m gone?”
Mike Tyson is all set to fight Jake Paul tonight. The event is on Netflix live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and features four matches. It is free for viewers who subscribed to Netflix.
