Cardi B expressed her nerves ahead of election day as Vice President Kamala Harris competes against former President Donald Trump. On Monday night, she posted on her X (formerly Twitter) account, saying, "I don’t know why I’m so nervous for tomorrow… I feel like I’m running for president." This message followed her endorsement of Harris at a rally in Milwaukee. Many comments on her post came from Trump supporters making unfounded claims that she would end up in jail if he wins. Others praised her for caring so much about the election. One fan remarked, "It’s because you care. It’s a beautiful thing to care so much for your country you worry for it." Cardi had previously withheld her support for the Democratic candidate while Joe Biden was still in the race but changed her mind during Harris' rally in Wisconsin last Friday. “I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” Cardi stated. “I do not take lightly the call to show up, the call to speak up, the call to deliver a message that’s been on my heart a hot minute now." She added, “Just like Kamala Harris, I too have been the underdog, underestimated, with my success often challenged. Women have to work ten times harder and still face doubt about how we made it. I don’t tolerate bullies, and like Kamala, I stand up to them.” Keep an eye on Cardi's latest post about the election. Results will start coming in after 7:00 PM EST on Tuesday.
