Drake Helps Rick Ross Achieve His First Song To Reach A Billion Streams!

Drake and Rick Ross are among the top partnerships in today's hip hop scene. While Drake has had great collaborations with Lil Wayne and Kanye West has teamed up with JAY-Z, the chemistry between Drake and Ross stands out. Their first classic singles date back to 2010. Notably, "Money In the Grave" became a hit, reaching over one billion streams on Spotify, a first for Rick Ross, and it's interesting that it happened on a Drake track.

This year, Drake and Rick Ross have been exchanging jabs. They have referenced each other in their music and taken digs at one another on social media. Rick Ross even released a diss track titled "Champagne Moments." In contrast, Drake only responded with a few lines at a time. He poked fun at Ross's age in "Push Ups" and claimed credit for many of Ross's successful songs. Drake raps about Ross turning 50, stating that all of his chart-topping hits came from Drake's influence.

Rick Ross has tried to play down Drake's words, but the statistics are clear. Drake has an impressive 18 songs with over a billion streams on Spotify, tying him with The Weeknd for the most in music history. "Money In the Grave" is the record-tying 18th song, while "Look Alive," his collaboration with BlocBoy JB, is close to reaching a billion streams too. Drake already leads all rappers in this category and is on track to hold the overall record.

Rick Ross's story is different. While he has enjoyed a highly successful career, he has undeniably gained from his work with Drake. "Money In the Grave" is his most streamed song by far. His second-best song, Kanye West's "Devil In a New Dress," only has around 500,000 streams, which is half of what his collaboration with Drake has. Additionally, Drake appears in three other songs on Ross's top ten most-streamed list. Keep it locked to 103.5 The Beat for more!
