Nicki Minaj Announces, "Pink Friday 3" After Scrapping Deluxe!

Some fans of Nicki Minaj, known as the Barbz, have expressed their disappointment recently. During the weekend, concertgoers asked for refunds due to concerns about Nicki starting her shows late, claims of lip-syncing, and not performing specific songs. While some of these refund requests seemed unreasonable, Nicki promptly responded by explaining her aim to create a unique experience at each tour stop. It appears they will not receive refunds, but there will be a different form of compensation. Nicki Minaj announced that she plans to release Pink Friday 3 soon, making it a trilogy of projects. Initially, she intended to launch the Gag City Reloaded deluxe version of Pink Friday 2 on September 13, which had been teased with new snippets and performances during her tour. However, she decided to change direction late in the process. Nicki stated, "Instead of doing a DELUXE to Pink Friday 2, I’ve decided to do a brand new album. I’ll still include new songs like #Mamita and [the 'anxiety' song] during the rest of the tour…and I’ll announce the new date in the next couple of weeks. The new music deserves more than being thrown onto a deluxe album." She expressed her excitement about the recent songs she recorded and reassured fans that something special is coming leading up to the announcement. Nicki also shared that this phase of her career has been very rewarding for her. While the Barbz will have to wait longer for new music, reactions online suggest they are largely pleased with the news.
