GloRilla Removed The R-Word From New Song

GloRilla was not feeling the fan backlash when she shared a new song on social media. Fans online went in on Big Glo for using the r-word.

..."H*e you must not know what you just started/Me and my b**ches retarded,"...."Give a f**k about this party/We gon' step on sh*t regardless." the Memphis artist raps.

Once instagram users saw the uploaded clip of GloRilla teasing her news snpit off upcoming album the comments started flooding in on the use of the r-word. With many explaining why it's not cool to use the term; being its offensive. Especially to special needs individuals.

According to the dictionary it is offensive, dated, the "r-word" is considered a form of hate speech and stands for "retard," "retarded" or other offensive words ending in "-tard."

Today (Monday), GloRilla posted a new version of her unreleased song without the r-word on Instagram. In the song, the lyric is replaced.

"H*e you must not know what you just started/Me and my b**ches go naughty," Glo rhymes in the clip below. "Give a f**k about this party/We gon' step on sh*t regardless."
