Jimmy Butler Files Trademark

Miami Heat are headed to the NBA Finals for the second time in the last four years. The no.8 seeded Heat have been the underdog throughout the tournament proving naysayers wrong.

While Jimmy Butler has been taking care of business on the court he has been going just as hard off the court. Butler has many nicknames that have become more and more popular as he and the Miami Heat have fought their way to the finals. Butler reportedly is looking to launch "Himmy Buckets" brands of coffee, soda, bottled water, beer, coffee cups, mugs, clothing and other apparel once the trademark is approved. According to trademark attorney, Josh Gerben and the founder of Gerben IP, Jimmy Butler filed a trademark for "HIMMY BUCKETS" on May 24, 2023.

"Himmy", is a play on the slang term, "I'm him", (which is a way of confidently bragging on yourself as you are that dude).

Butler is not new to entrepreneurship. He charged $20 for a cup of coffee he was brewing in his hotel room at the Walt Disney Resort in 2020. Taking advantage of his hard work on the court has empowered him to take the nickname "Jimmy Buckets" which transformed into "Himmy Buckets" to the next marketing level.

Jimmy Butler is showing no signs of slowing down. Butler and the Miami Heat face off against the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on June 1.
