Soulja Boy has been ordered to pay his ex-girlfriend $235,000 as part of a lawsuit settlement. In 2019 Kayla Meyers accused Soulja Boy of assault and kidnapping. Kicking off the weekend last Friday (April 21) in Los Angeles a jury reached a verdict in the civil case.
Kayla suffered three fractured ribs. The alleged events took place at a party and lasted over six hours. The lawsuit also named Soulja Boy's assistant Tevin Anderson for sexual battery. The jury awarded Meyers $1,800 for mental health expenses and $234,100 for physical and mental pain and suffering.
Meyers testified the alleged assault and kidnapping occurred at the rapper's Malibu home. She was only allowed to leave after performing oral sex on the assistant. In fear for her life Meyers was granted permission to leave the house by Soulja Boy allegedly.
