The Oscars opened with Beyonce performing “Be Alive” from the King Richard film.
The performance occurred at the tennis courts that Venus and Serena Williams practiced at in Compton, as she was introduced by the two icons.
Beyonce was joined by her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, a live band, and dancers.
Beyonce was nominated for “Be Alive,” the single for King Richard, the film about the father of Venus and Serena Williams.
