Latto’s “Big Energy” has surged up the Billboard Hot 100, where it sits at No. 3 on the charts.
Boosted from the remix starring Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled it puts Big Latto in rare company as she is the ninth solo female rap act to hit the Top 5 with a single. Latto joins Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Lauryn Hill, M.I.A., Missy Elliott and Salt-N-Pepa, “Big Energy” is the first Top 5 record from a solo female since Cardi B did it with “Up” last year.

Latto released her 777 album, and it debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.
